      Default Mycorrhizae how to

I repotted some plants today and used some new Mycorrhizae funghi granules, simply dust into the planting hole you make for your plant to fit, as long as it makes contact with the roots of the plant it will colonize the roots and branch out from there.

      Heres how to use it..

1st i line my pots with 3" clay for drainage and air penetration into media, as if you have media all the way to the drain holes, and its moist , it is basically a barrier to the surrounding atmosphere.. clay allows a lot of air into the pot

2nd I fill with my 60 coir 40 perlite mix and leave loose, do not firm, then use the same pot your plants are already in to make the planting hole, simply push this pot into the media firming at into the right shape and evenly into the sides of the pot.
3rd I sprinkly a small amount of funghi into each planting hole before adding the plant, so when the roots penetrate the powder they will be colonized with an extra rootzone..

Simply place plant into planting hole after teasing the roots out of their tight pot shape before replanting.

still holding a tight pot shaped ball..

given a gentle tease out at the bottom helps a lot.. dont fret if you break a few, it will forgive you..

nice and tight, firm the loose coir around the edges and add a little to top up if necessary..

simple as that... give them a good watering in and they will soon be filling in the new space with healthy roots.. judge the weight of the pot when you first repotted before watering and again after you have watered.. give you an indication of when its drying out..
