Three Assisted-Living Residents Cited With Marijuana Charge

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo -- Sixty-one-year-old Felix Guzman, 48-year-old Perry Tudor, and 42-year-old Durand McKibben, were cited on charges for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana at the Peachtree Assisted Living Facility on Wednesday.
Three men living at an assisted living facility in the Grand Junction area have been cited on drug charges after the facility's manager said he got a whiff of marijuana smoke coming from a room. Mesa County Sheriff's Lt. Jim Fogg said the men will face fines of $100 or less if convicted.
Tudor told The Associated Press he expected to pay a fine or perform community service but declined additional comment. Fogg said marijuana cases involving people in their 50s and 60s are becoming more common as baby boomers age.
