[Grow Report] "Devil's Bubba" preview

Devil's Bubba update:

So, an update on my Devils Bubba im currently testing for twigboy. I will be making a new thread(s) of its own, but ill post a few pics here, mostly of my keeper of the 3(#4), and also the others including one showing some pink, just for a small preview, but the main thread will be made later, when they are finished. I accidentally uploaded some pics that werent resized, and they uploaded, but im not sure if they'll work. Also I accidentally took the pics of the one in a really low resolution/quality by accident, whatever there's fewest of i think.
So thanks to Twigboy for making them, and ganjaclaus and twig for both gifting some to me, im about to chop my first devils bubba tomorrow. These are from the first batch gifted to me from GC, thanks bro.

So, first, let me run down the lineage of the strain, as Im sure who dont know are curious.
Devils Bubba: This strain was made by Twigboy, using a full-on purple "SpaceDevil" female (by Dank Dairy) with a male of Bodhi's (pre-98 bubba x Afghani).
So, ill run it down.

Devil's Bubba = [(SpaceDevil) x (pre-98 bubba x Afghani)]
Space Devil = (SpaceCheeze x Devilberry)
SD= [(UK Cheese x Space Queen) x (Krowberry x Double Purple Doja)
SQ=C99xRomulan, DPD= [(A13 x BBxAk47) x BBxAk47)], uk cuts

...so there you go. im sure you can imagine the complexity of possibilities of terpenes, not easy to describe.

These are organic in soil, in 3-gal bags in flowering. These are from 5 seeds, and all germ'd and i got 3 fems and 2 males. They were started in late January .hey had to be delayed into flowering due to space constraints. Only reason they aren't massive. lol.

They, along w/ the rest of the plants in the room, 1 JTR, 1 JCxP, 1 MM, 3 YWT..
...are under a little over 1400 watts.

DB#1 - (5/18 - started flowering) - has the most indica-dom looking fan leaves, but is not necessarily the most indica-dom plant. Im not sure exactly what this one is pulling from to give those leaves, as its not the most indy-dom in structure, and def not the bubba leaves, maybe a combo between Afghani & Devilberry genetics? It has pink calyxes, not purple, but pink. A totally unique smell that is very hard to describe, they all smell very similar in that, w/ the exception of #4, which smells like the rest except in which the bubba terpenes are coming through a bit more. They all smell sweet, slightly fruity, hashy/kushy, maybe a little skunk, slightly sour and a little soapy one the #1 & #5;- all jumbled up to make some weird smell / unique terpene profiles.
This one looks really nice, currently 2/3, and will be kept at least for one more run. However on 7/14, day 45 of flowering, it has started to throw banana(s). Only one so far, but the #5 pheno has been throwing them here and there for about a week. I hate picking fucking nanners off my plants for 2 weeks at the end of flowering. It sucks, bcuz this is bright pink/magenta calyxes, will have amazing bag appeal, but its not worth running again if its gonna throw nanners for 2 weeks or more before its done. I guess its just one more inspection on each plant in the morning anyway. whatever.

I cant wait to see this one done and trimmed... its the least far along, although only a few weeks left, its even more pink and getting pinker, no purple at all, not even magenta, strait bright pink. I wish I had a real camera w/ a macro lens to do it justice so you guys could really see. Its just getting pinker too, I can't wait 'til its done.


DB#4 - (5-14 started flowering) - This is definitely the keeper pheno by far. It is the most stable, the dankest looking, smelling, and highest yielding. This is definitely our most bubba-dom pheno. It hasnt changed any colors, although, it looks like it could be a purple plant that hasn't quite turned, however, the fans have flushed from green to yellow to purple in certain spots. So the fans do have some bright royal purple blotches on them. This is the most ripe of all 3 plants, as it was put in first, and is ready to come down. Most likely it will be chopped tomorrow (7-16) at 63 days, 9 weeks. The pictures show it currently at 59 days flowering. This one we think is gonna be really dank.

DB#5 - was started on 5/18 and the pics show it currently at 55 days flowering, just under 8 weeks. This plant has another few days to go, but has been throwing nanners for a week at least; not in massive amounts, but enough that i have to examine it every morning for them, because i believe if i let it go w/out checking it for a few days, I might have some stray pollen seeding up my dank buds. This plant doesn't have many pics of it, it is the least branchy, coming off the main arms. It took well to the FIM'ing but it grows strait colas up the branches. It seems to be pretty dense shit, although the buds dont look huge, I dont expect major shrinkage though. Although Iv'e never grown it, I think, from the structure of the buds, is either a SpaceDevil/SpaceCheese pheno. It's bud sructure has some traits indicative to Space Queen and pics I've seen of UK Cheese, although I havn't had the pleasure of growing it strait up.
