Haze, Thai x Lights and Special K

We (GT and I) were sent this trio of herbs by a very kind member here. I was looking very forward to trying these herbs, because I've never had anything good from Canada(just beasters). The first thing I noticed when cutting open the vacuum sealed package was the seriously strong sour citrus odor that came out and quickly filled my whole kitchen.



O.k., first up is the Special K. A very dense purple indica with a slight sweet, musky smell. I can't quite put my finger on the taste, but it's tasty. GT said it's a light menthol taste with a little sweetness and musk. The high is that of a strong indica, comparable to PurpleKush or PurpleUrkle. We enjoy this for the evenings.






Next is the Dr. Atomics ThaiLights. Mmmm, I like this one a lot. It's gotta sour fruity smell. The taste is unique, it's like fruit punch and champaigne. The high is sativa dominant, strong and long lasting. I want this strain now, this is the type of herb I like to smoke all day everyday.



Last but not least is the Seedsman Haze. This is my favorite out of the 3, I wish I had a huge jar full. It smells sour and citrusy, the taste is of sweet grapefruit. I love the high on this one, it reminds me of the Mexican sativas I used to smoke when I was a kid. It's just tastier and more potent. It has that old school quality high: chinese eyes, grin and a nice warm fuzzy feeling under your skin. I smoked some with a grower/dealer friend and he said "this is the first pot I've been excited about in a long time".

The grower of this herb obviously knows what he's doing as far as strain selection and proper feeding/flushing. Thanks, man. I had heard Canada had some very fine herb, now I know for sure.
