Kali Mist x Bubblegum (Tree Grow Doh)

Hows life. Got a freebie pack when I was at the TY expo in Toronto this year. Good guy from Serious Thomas hooked me up. Good folk them guys. Great customer service. Not all dutch seed company's are bad..lol

So I grew em for about 40 days give or take. HAd 5 seed 4 germinated. 2 male 2 female.

Seem to have 2 phenos here.
Guessing one is more Bubblegum and other is more Kali Mist. You can tell one is much more delicate, supple stems, than the other. Bud structure way different too.
I can get a nice spiceyness off the stem rubs. And they feel greasy this early on as well. I am very impressed with these genetics.

Had to put a bend in them a few days ago and will continue to do so. These plants are about 4" from my ceiling 8'. Got me on my toes they do. Seems they will stretch almost the entire flowering cycle according to Thomas. So its gonna be a LST battle for the next 9 weeks or so.Thats a 8' ceiling never even looked up there before these plants. Damn its dirty. Yes the plants are on the floor. Wont be vegging KailMist so long no more...hehe

45 days of veg and 18 inches tall... i could have told you then that you will create giants...cannabis redwood trees so to speak...

The Kali Bubba will probabaly continue to stretch almost for the whole flowering-cycle, only the last three weeks or so it will stop.

Kali has a recommended flowering time of 70 to 90 days (10-13 weeks) asnd i guess kali bubba is a little bit shorter but also close to that window lets say 68-88 days (appr. 10 –13 weeks).

Since you are only 3 and a half weeks into flowering you still can do everything you want...especially bending and binding down a plant can be done till the end as long as you dont break branches...

homas @ SeriousRight now you still can top her as well, but everything you cut off will be lost as budding site, the other side-branches will take the space of the cut off top-brnaches, no problem...

In emergency situations when you see a promising branch will be too tall, there are a few options. The first option is to cut away a part of the branch. But if it has a nice bud already, and you do not want to clip that nice bud off:
1) you can bend the branch down, away from the ceiling, tie it down with some rope to keep it low. The tip with bud will grow upwards again (if it is not too heavy, in that case you need to tie the bud also up).
Or 2) you can break the main stem by slowly bending it till it 'goes' and leaves a permanent bend. This branch you can lay down on the surrounding canopy. It will grow scar tissue around the bend and the tip will grow upwards again

Heres the plants. Pics just dont justice. No they are not lanky. They are tall and majestic. Seen a few lanky ass plants, these are not them.
