Default Joes Domage.

Finally Taking Advise From A Friend Who Is An Astonishing Grower Who Frequently Shows His/Her Creations Here At Breedbay.
After Losing A Couple Of Homeboxes Due To Rotting Recycled Cotton Stitching ( You Have Been Warned ) I Built My Own Using Celotex Tuffr Or Kingspan Solid Insulation. Kingspan Has One Side That Has No Text, Just A Highly Reflective ( Diffused Reflection) So No Hot Spots. Also You Only Need A Breadknife To Easily Make Everything From Dovetail Joints To Perfectly Round Ducting Ports.
My Last Effort Was A Solid Insulation Room That Was Lined With Plywood So I Could Lock It From Pesky Teenagers !
The Entrance Was Behind A Clothes Dryer I Had On Rails So It Concealed The Ground Level Entrance.
Getting In And Out Was Very Cramped , But Saying That It Was Stealthy And One Time When I Last Had A Search Warrant, It Was Not Detected ! ( 2009 SP Cheese Grown In Jugbubblers ).
Just As Many Of You Will Know Of The Fluctuations In Temperature When Growing In A Attic Can Be A Real Headache . The Same Can Be Said Of Damp And Cold Outbuildings Or Sheds ( Or Sheds Inside Box Vans, lol ) Can Cause The Plants To Really Slow Down.
Bart B's Article In SSUK Titled " Growing Without Heat " Did Help And Also Concreted My Liking Of The Miro Film Covered Adjustawing I Have Used For Some Years Now. I Prefer It To The £115.00 ( reflector only ) Canatronic Jetstream Aircooled Reflector
I Did A Side By Side Pot Of Gold Grow Using A 600 Adjustawing ( And Spreader Shield ) And 600 Jetsteam With Eco Lite Ballast
Results Were The Adjustawing Was More Superior Without The Typical 10-20% Of Lost Lumens When Using Glass Covers. Thats Probably Why I Have Never Liked The Curved Glass Used In The Many Variations Of Coolshades/ Cooltubes/Etc. Some Inferior Reflectors Actually Make It So The Light Rays Have To Not Just Reflect Through One Sheet Of Glass, But Actually Twice ! ( Cooltubes With External Reflectors/ Or Fascinators As I Call Them).
Anyways, I'm Digressing As Normal, So I'll Carry On.
Now I Have Somewhere New To Grow TooThat Has Ambient Temperatures And Is Very Conveniant Indeed. Fellow Member , And Friend Sat Me And My Better Half And Suggested Things Would Be Much Easier If I Returned To Tent City,( Just Outside Stoke On Tent ).
So I Have A Brand New Growtent That Measures 1.25 Metres by 1.25 Metres By 2 Metres High. I Also Have New Orca Sheet I'll Be Using In The Tent ( Diffused Reflectors And Diffused Reflective Sheeting Are My Favourites ). The Orca Will Be Held In Place With Zip Ties Attached To The Upright Poles.
Also New Is 5 Metres Of Sonoduct ( Acoustic Ducting Covered With A Sheath Of Fibreglass And Mylar. Using Fast Clamps And Also Quick Release Jubilee Clips To Attach Ducting. Also To Keep Outer Sheath In Place With 3M Mylar Tape That I Laminate With A Length Of Plumbers Duct Tape
Extraction Will Be 125mm Prima Klima Two Speed Fan ( Double Winding Fan ) And Intake Will Be 125 mm RVK/HVK/Lti/Systemaire.
Today I Put The New Carbon Filter And Extraction Bits And Bobs Together And Then Switched On, Waiting For Draught To Hit My Sock. I'm So Pleased To Say I Put My Ear On That Extractor And Heard Nothing. The Only Sound Was From The Air Being Drawn Into The Filter.
The Growtent Will Be Sitting On A 16 Inch Wooden Base I've Built So There Will Be No More Bending Anymore ( Another Massive Plus )
I'll Also Be Growing Some Incredible Strains ( As Per Usual ) And Have Decided To Go 100% With Canna Products http://www.canna.com . Using 6 Eleven Litre Containers And Garland "Square Metre" Catch Tray , I Bought A 50 Litre Bag Of Canna Terra Professional Soil, Canna Aktrivator, Cannazym
It's Great To Finally Get A Fresh Shot At Self Sustinanace , And Am Extemely Greatful To Those ( I've Been Priveledged To Have Two Mentors Here At Breedbay)
I Dedicate This Thread As Appreciation For The Help And Sage Advise.
Needless To Say My Activity Level Will Increase Again ( GS, I'm Going For The Medal ,lol Jus Joeking )
I'm Aiming High With This Thread And Hope To Maybe Even Win A Bud Of The Week ( Or Bud Of The Day,Lol).
I've Been On Cannasites Now For Over A Decade And My Most Popular Grows Were Kevdaddys Chemo Haze And Lonestars " Texas Heather " ( Both Grown In The Attic I Can No Longer Get Up Too)
I'm Excited, No Doubt About That
Joe
