Grow Boards

Hi have been looking at grow boards lately on ebay and i see they have come down in price somewhat i remember before they were asking £249.99 for a decent grow board with an 8no capacity i hear they are much cheaper on the electric as well but now i see them with the same capacity for only £150 for a board thats still £300 if you get the seperate boards red for bloom and blue for veg, i just wanted to know if there are any growers out there using these boards if so let me know what are they like do they produce good yields like the conventional lights ? i know you can put them right over the plants as well cause they have virtually no heat produce and i guess the best thing is the cheaper electric bills if anyone has any info on them would be happy to know and many thanks in advance and peace to all
