hy guys. on my last visit to st lucia, we went on a cable car into the rain forest..while i was up there the guide started telling us about the rastas that lived in the rain forest before the coverment moved them out. so i asked why they where moved out ,and she said it was because they where polluting the streams....so i said how can they pollute the streams when they live off the land and dont use chemicals or generators, the rastas i have seen in the hills that is...she did not answer me but did tell me where they are living now.....
so i took note and as soon as we got out the rain forest we where of.......
two hours later after some off roading and looking for a turtle watch look out that was not there.. we then came to the rasta village and was greeted with organic fruit of all sorts so juicy....
i was introduce to the king....after i had denounced babylon and praised jah i asked him if i could see his ganja garden.....
at first he was hesitent but after i showed him my bean collection and a spliff the trust was made.....the garden isnt big and is not in full flower but he assurd me that this was his tourist garden and when i next go back i could see the feild of dreams......hehe
he grows local and island crosses one he calls skunk wich was more northen lighty than skunk.... but all had the unmistakable smell of haze type genes....i was told from all over the island that the old sativas giants are long gone .. since jamaicans started useing indicas .. because of there hight and quick flowering times...there easyer to hide from the cops...
st lucian weed still tastes like sativa but the vigor is gone the king said.....
So i left him with some pursang haze,pursang x freeze,purple power x haze,lambs bread from jamica and aload of land race beans i had collected from brazil, columbia,and thailand lemon and chocolate....
cant wait to go back... he knows what he is doing cross wise, and keeps males well away from the females, i should have aload of land race crosses in bean form when i go back.....hehehe
