Root developement in veg vs flower
So I was reading one of Cervantes books ans he mentioned how the plants priority in veg is to put roots down and of course in flower, produce buds. So does the plant completely stop root developement in flower ? Or does it put most of its energy in flowers and some in the roots?
Also, is there any photos of day by day root developement in a pot ? I wonder if you could rig a clear pot with a lightproof cover that could be removed to observe root developement. Thanks
