Window Ac vs. Central tap

Hey BB...question

Need to get the temps in my grow chamber down 20-25 degrees...

I have 2 options that I can think of, which would work, or are there better ways...

My set up is a clothing cabinet (one of those portable cloth types) 3x2x6' in an attic that is 20x20 probably

Solution 1: Window AC unit, cool side vent attached to a 6-8" tube connected to chamber, a catch pan for condensation...seems like all that water could pose a hazard (fire/roof-water leak) and a pain in the arse to drain out the catch pan ever however often...

Solution 2: Tap into one of the ducts that come through the attic to feed the rooms. Use a 6-10" tube run it from the tap/splice to the grow chamber...but, this means turning the AC on everyday (even when it is cold here) and never being able to use the heat for the home....ah..

I can't afford one of those portable AC units (self contained kind), I currently have a Honeywell Ion/Hepa/Carbon filter/fan, but the cab is sealed pretty good...700w of CFL & T5s...it is hitting 100 in the chamber, and it is like 55 outside...next couple of months temps will jump 40-50 degrees....

Ideas, thoughts, comments????
