new hydro set-up

Well I just moved and it appears its going to be safer security wise to grow hydro at te new house. So with this being said I decided on a system.

Now I want to build this myself to hopefully save money. If anybody has any info on building an ebb&flow bucket system with controller please help me out. I ask a lot of questions because I like things to work perfectly so I want to be sure I have it right. So if somebody has a lot of patience and is into helping me out to set this up please feel free to post.


Another thing is I havent even built the room yet. I plan on building it in teh garage. Not sure if I want to use panda plastic for walls or wood frame walls. I have used panda in teh past with decent results. Only thing I didnt like about it is that it dont clean very easily especially when used on the floor.

As far as equipment already own here is what I got. 2 1000w HPS ballasts w/ air cooled hoods. 2 400w MH ballasts with non air cooled hoods. 1 8 bulb T5 Tek light. 2 465 cfm eco plus squirrel cage fans. 2 5k btu ac units.

I want to run 2 48 site bucket systems and need specs on teh room and an additional equip list if any needed as far as lighting and fans etc.


Ive never run hydro other than playing around with a water farm bucket in my closet with no results out of it. Everything died that I tried to run. Thanks for your time and consideration for helping me on this matter.
