Once again, pistils has graced me with the opportunity to test out some tasty Dank Dairy hybrids.
Very fast service, as far as getting these testers to me. Those were requested and delivered, all in the same week. Them beans zoomed to me. ![]() ![]() I looked at these beans closely and noted the differences. I wrote that on the tags when I put em in the dirt. I noted some looked like my space queen f2's, and a few others on the left, looked like sq, but bigger. One on the right, looked as if it had a crack, leaking seed juices or maybe some seed husk skin thing goin on. Not sure. But, that one popped. A couple tiger striped ones as well. Not sure if any of this matters, but it is noted. ![]() I use Jiffy's peat pellets. Just let em soak up straight water. ![]() I stir it up with stabbinz and drop them beaners straight in. Spray a little tap water on top. then wait. It's crazy how fast this goes. Usually 3 days. ![]() I also use a humidome, like I do with my clones. I don't know if it's totally necessary, but, I do ok with it. I have fried some little seedlings a little around the edges when I removed the dome top to quickly. Drastic humidity and temp change I would assume. I have also had trouble using the vents on top, creating hotspots. So, now I use a few extra spoons or tags to break the seal on the dome. Slowly acclimate the younginz, taking the dome off, every few hours, and yes, it seems they do change by the hour, at this stage. ![]() These babies were breaking ground on Day 3. These Pics are from earlier today, Day 4. ![]() Im keepin an eye on the one on the right, to see if it's strong enough to remove that seed shell, without my help. ![]() So far, I got 9/10 above ground. Not givin up on the last one yet, cause I dug it up and saw a very short tap root. Put it back in and we shall see. More pics after I put em in the cups. ~Blazaholic
